“Sauntermore was born from a simple challenge to modern culture: what if instead of always working more, we learned when to saunter more? This logo represents perspective, grounded movement, and the belief that meaningful progress often comes through deliberate pace rather than constant urgency.” Dillon Hargrave, founder
Sauntermore represents more than a leadership curriculum; it is a commitment to articulating the lived truth of leadership.
This work is rooted in attentive engagement with reality rather than abstraction. We are seeing leaders move beyond theoretical concepts to identify how pressure affects their behavior and where their care becomes visible.
While traditional models often assume infinite capacity, our work starts with the actual constraints and responsibilities of life. Leaders are discovering a shared language for experiences previously carried in isolation, allowing them to name what has shaped them and gain new clarity in their leadership.
While its formation is closely connected to The Julian Way and informed by core assets like their Anti-Ableism training, sauntermore remains a non-confessional initiative. This intentional design ensures that leaders from all belief systems and backgrounds can participate without reservation.
Its purpose is not to form belief, but to cultivate a shared language and practice of leadership under constraint.
In this way, sauntermore extends the spirit of The Julian Way’s work — not by narrowing its reach, but by making it accessible to those who might otherwise remain outside its language.
This positioning allows Sauntermore to:
Serve leaders across institutional and cultural contexts
Build bridges beyond explicitly faith-based spaces
Remain grounded in lived experience while welcoming difference
Sauntermore remains aligned with the broader mission of The Julian Way while opening pathways for that mission to travel further.
