About Us

Overview of the Organization:

Founded on the belief that every individual is a part of God’s divine creation, The Julian Way works tirelessly to reshape faith communities into places of belonging and spiritual growth for people with disabilities. Named after Julian of Norwich, whose writings inspire resilience and divine inclusivity, our organization celebrates the unique contributions of people with disabilities within faith spaces. We recognize that all bodies are crafted with purpose and seek to support the wholeness and beauty in every individual.

The Julian Way logo is a navy blue stylized Chestnut shape, with a light blue pool at the top of the stylized shape the leads to a river of blue heading off the right side of the heart. Below the words “The Julian Way” appear in white. Under the words is another wavy light blue river running from the left of the heart to the right side of the heart. Looking at the logo as a whole, the top and bottom rivers of light blue appear to form a pathway.

Our Values:

Belonging: Every person deserves a place to grow, worship, and connect, free from barriers. We are committed to fostering communities where individuals feel seen and valued.

Empowerment: By supporting individuals with disabilities in their faith journeys, we help them reach their fullest potential, both personally and spiritually.

Accessibility: We work alongside faith communities to create environments that are not only physically accessible but also welcoming and emotionally supportive, ensuring all members can engage meaningfully.
